Course: Integration of technology in teaching
Instructors:
Steve Foisy Keven Bilodeau-Tremblay
Date: March 29, 2023
Time: 3 pm to 4 pm
Steve Foisy:
“There are several ways to swing a golf club, but only one will be the most effective and repetitive for every golfer. The quest for your most adequate swing DNA lies in a trilogical initial diagnosis: What, Why , How
1) The "WHAT" is what is detectable through video analysis and/or 3D
2) The "WHY" emerges from the physical capacities of the individual
3) The "HOW" is pertains to kinetics, i.e. ground reaction forces
It is through the use of cutting edge technologies such as high-speed cameras, motion capture systems and the use of force plates, combined with extensive knowledge in biomechanics and physiology, that we can make tailored technical recommendations to each golfer. At our Academy, we don't believe in the sustainability of one's golf swing through guesswork and the results generated among our students testify of the relevance of our daily operations."
Keven Bilodeau-Tremblay:
How do we integrate technology into a teaching session?
There is a wide variety of technological information available to us, but what is the most useful way to use it for our student, what to tell them, why and in what order.
I will guide you on the best practices to do this.
A zoom link will be sent to you 24 hours before the webinar.
