Assistant Professional - Islesmere Golf Club

Since its founding in 1919, the Islesmere Golf Club has always been recognized by professionals and amateurs alike as one of the most beautiful courses in Québec. Designed by Scottish architect Willie Park Jr. Since its opening, the Islesmere Golf Club has hosted the LPGA Du Maurier Classic as well as the PGA of the United States Sanctioned Montreal Open.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience and developing their knowledge in several sectors of the industry to make it a career. The candidate will assist the head professional in various projects.

The selected candidate:

• Participate in the sales and management of the golf shop.
• Collaborate in the organization of the Club's activities.
• Teaching in the different programs offered
• Assist in inventory control
• Developing golf instruction to different groups
• Be up to date with all promotions at the store
• Customer Service
• Play golf with members

Qualification and experience:

• Member of the PGA of Canada.
• Experience in operating a golf shop and customer service will be considered an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Caring and passionate 
• Experience in sale at the shop
• Bilingual is an asset

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary $850 to $1000/week, 40 hours
• Contract Duration +/- 28 weeks
• PGA membership fee paid at the end of the season
