
High Performance Sports Coordinator
The Québec Golf Federation (“Golf Québec”) is the governing body for golf, with a vision to be the leader and reference point for golf in Québec. Its mission is to increase participation, develop excellence, promote, and govern the practice of golf.
esents nearly 50,000 members in more than 250 clubs in Québec and eastern Ontario. Golf Québec offers programs such as Sport-études golf, the rules of golf, course ratings, and the World Handicap System. Golf Québec also oversees various regional and provincial amateur competitions.
Golf Québec is looking for someone who is passionate about athlete development. This is a full-time administrative position. The successful candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills and will be able to work independently to organize their work. They will work closely with the Technical Director to coordinate and provide logistical and clerical support for Golf Québec's athlete development system.

Your duties will include:
- Work in collaboration with the Technical Director to manage the provincial athlete development system.
- Coordinate logistics for activities related to athlete development (training camps, evaluation camps, identification camps, team meetings, etc.).
- Draft documentation to ensure the smooth running of activities related to athlete development (athlete contracts, information documents, surveys, e-mail communications, memorandums of understanding with partners, PowerPoint presentations, etc.).
- Organize the collection of pertinent data and statistics for the identification and monitoring of athletes.
- Recruit partners (clubs, coaches, golf professionals, specialists).
- Coordinate logistics for the implementation of the Competitive Clubs program.
- Coordinate the logistics of the Technical Committee meetings and other task forces (room reservations, invitations, note taking, summaries, etc.).
- Coordinate logistics for professional development activities for coaches.
- Assist eligible athletes with their registration with their CREM.
- Prepare orders for clothing and equipment for the Québec team.
We are looking for:
- Post-secondary education in progress or completed in physical education, sports intervention, or another relevant program.
- Knowledge of Québec's federated sports community and the organizations that govern it.
- Experience in high-level sports is an asset.
- Competitive golf experience is an asset.
- Ability to use relevant and current computer tools, beyond Microsoft 365.
- Excellent French, both spoken and written; English is an asset.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and time.
- Autonomy.
- Strong interest in research and statistics.
- Strong interest in teamwork.
- Willing to go to the Golf Québec office at least three (3) days a week.
- Available to travel within the territory to be served (occasionally).
- Valid driver's license in Québec.

Duration and dates:
- This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible hours depending on the season.

Salary:
- Between $50,000 and $55,000 per year.
