The Royal Québec Golf Club, a prestigious institution recognized for the exceptional quality  of its facilities and its commitment to the development of golf, is  looking for a dynamic and passionate Junior Coordinator. This key position plays a strategic role in the planning, implementation and management of  the Club's junior program, actively contributing to the growth, vitality and succession  of golf at Royal Québec. 

Job mission 

Under the authority of the Director of Golf and Member Services, the Junior Coordinator's  mission is to develop, promote and lead a structured,  inclusive and inspiring program, promoting the learning, fun and performance of young  golfers, while training the ambassadors and elite of tomorrow. 

Primary responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and facilitate all activities of the junior  program (clinics, leagues, camps, internal tournaments, social activities, etc.), and participate in the  recruitment of coaches. 

• Design and implement a structured development program, promoting  the progression, motivation and performance of young golfers. 

• Ensure regular, proactive and caring communication with parents,  juniors and Club staff. 

• Support technical and sports development initiatives for young people,  in accordance with the established educational objectives. 

• Supervise field activities to ensure a safe, positive  and stimulating experience for all participants.

• Promote the active participation of juniors in the Club's internal activities as well as in  regional and provincial competitions. 

• Collaborate in the planning of the annual calendar and the budget monitoring of the  junior program. 

• Promote the values, culture and code of ethics of the Club. 

• Act as an ambassador for the junior program to members, parents and  external partners. 

Profile sought 

• Member of the PGA of Quebec. 

• Excellent communication, organizational and facilitation skills. • Strong enthusiasm for working with youth and ability to create a  stimulating, safe and caring environment. 

• Experience in coordinating sports activities or managing youth programs  (an asset). 

• Positive leadership, team spirit and great autonomy. 

• Flexible availability during the summer season (including evenings and weekends). • Fluency in French, spoken and written. 

Conditions of employment 

• Full-time annual seasonal position (March to the end of September). • Compensation: $42,000 (for the period of March to the end of September). • Benefits: 

           Support for professional development. 

           Refund of the PGA of Canada membership fee (payable at the end of the  season). 

           Clothing allowance offered.
