Professional / Assistant - Elm Ridge Golf Club

Elm Ridge Country Club (ERCC) is actively seeking an assistant professional for the 2022 season.  ERCC is a 36-hole facility and is considered one of the premiere clubs in Quebec and Canada.  Founded in 1924, ERCC has a long tradition of being ambassadors for the game along with playing a leadership role in the community as hosts of numerous Golf Canada and Quebec events, as well as tournaments for charitable causes.

With 2 championship courses, ample sized practice facilities, numerous tournament scheduled and a vibrant membership, ERCC offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to learn and develop the tools necessary to excel within most aspects of the industry.

The successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of the English language, natural PR skills, a strong passion for teaching the game and a willingness to take initiative in providing the best of service to our members.

Role & Responsibilities

• Pro shop (merchandising, sales, inventory, equipment consultant)
• Teaching (clinics, private instruction, junior camps, playing lessons)
• Misc. (tournament organization, minor club repairs, club-fitting, starting tent duties if needed)
• Playing (1 play day per week with members)
• Will be able to play the Quebec Assistant’s circuit

Compensation

• Salary & teaching revenues are commensurate to experience
• PGA of Canada dues paid for by ERCC
• Player’s equipment package
