Victoriaville, June 16, 2026 — The 13th edition of the Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup, presented by Groupe Laquerre, Faubourg Notre-Dame (Groupe Jacques), and Full Wedge, will be held from August 13 to 16, 2026, on the fairways of the renowned Club de golf Victoriaville.
All indications suggest that the 2026 edition will be one of the strongest fields in tournament history. Several former champions and distinguished players have already confirmed their participation, including defending champion Joey Savoie, Étienne Papineau, Jake Scott, Blair Bursey, Eric Banks, and Brendan Leonard. Rising star Yohann Benson will also return, with additional major announcements expected in the coming weeks.
With a total purse of $140,000, including $35,000 awarded to the champion, the Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup remains one of the most prestigious and lucrative independent golf tournaments in Canada. Sanctioned and supported by PGA of Quebec and Golf Québec, the tournament annually welcomes more than 130 professional golfers from Canada and abroad, along with a select group of elite amateurs.
Since its inception in 2013, the Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup has awarded more than $1.8 million in prize money within Canada's professional golf industry, solidifying its status as one of the country's most significant and influential independent tournaments.
A Format Worthy of the Biggest Tours
The competition follows the same format used on the PGA Tour: four rounds of competition with a cut after the first two rounds. The top 60 players and ties will advance to the weekend championship rounds.
A Full Week of Golf Activities
The traditional Piché Pro-Ams will kick off tournament week on August 11 and 12, offering amateur golfers a unique opportunity to compete alongside Canada Cup professionals. Remaining true to its community mission, the event will once again donate a portion of its proceeds to the Fondation À notre Santé de l’Hôtel-Dieu d’Arthabaska. During the previous edition, more than $22,000 was contributed to the Foundation.
On August 10, the Club de golf Victoriaville will also host, for a third consecutive year, the provincial final of the Golf Québec Junior Skills Challenge. This exciting event will bring together approximately 40 young golfers aged 15 and under from across Quebec, competing in putting, chipping, and long-drive challenges.
Anthony Marcotte Returns as Event Spokesperson
The organizing committee is pleased to confirm the return of Anthony Marcotte as the official spokesperson for the event. A native of Victoriaville, Anthony remains a proud ambassador for the region and a passionate supporter of the game of golf.
“The Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup has become a must-see event on Quebec’s sporting calendar. It is a tremendous honour for me to be associated with it once again. Spectators will have the opportunity to watch world-class players up close in an atmosphere worthy of the finest professional tournaments,” said Anthony Marcotte.
A Nationwide Qualification Network
The Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup relies on an extensive network of golf tours and organizations to complete its field. Tournament exemptions and invitations are awarded through competitions organized by the PGA of Quebec, PGA of Canada, Vancouver Golf Tour, Toronto Players Tour, Golf Québec, Golf Canada, the Omnium Machinex, and the Club de golf Victoriaville.
An important addition will also highlight the 2026 edition of the Omnium Machinex, scheduled for July 10 at the Club de golf Laurier. Twelve direct exemptions into the Victoriaville–Fenergic Canada Cup will be awarded, while the top four players in the final standings will receive complimentary entries into the national championship in August—an innovative initiative made possible by Machinex.
