Anne Rogerson becomes the first woman president of the PGA of Québec
Following the PGA of Québec’s Annual General Meeting, held on May 21, 2026, Anne Rogerson was elected as the association’s first-ever woman president in its 99-year history. She succeeds Sylvain Gaudet, who served as president for the past two years (2024–2026) and was the last board member since the association’s relaunch in 2018.
Anne Rogerson, a member of the association since 2005 and a board member since 2020, has been one of the association’s most active members in reviving the PGA of Québec’s activities since the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to serving on the board of directors, she chairs the education committee and has also been involved in the communications working group.
In addition to her years with the PGA of Québec, Anne began her teaching career in Europe, specifically in Germany, and also played on the Ladies European Tour from 1989 to 1993.
“It is a true honor to be named the first woman president of the PGA of Quebec. I am grateful for the trust and support of our members, my colleagues, and the entire golf community. I look forward to continuing to grow our sport, supporting our professionals, and contributing to the future of golf in Québec,” the new president shared with us.
Ms. Rogerson (Kanawaki) will be supported by Jean-Charles Côté-Sauvé (Vice President) from Le Blainvillier and Louis-Alexandre Pitre (Secretary-Treasurer) from Mount Bruno, who round out the officers' board trio.
At the annual general meeting, all board members were also announced, with Alexandra Pelletier (Country Club) set to be the board’s newest member, succeeding Scott Johnson (Royal Montreal), who is stepping down after six years on the association’s board. Alexandra joins the three other directors already in place: Tommy Hazen (Golf du Lac Poulin), Charles Durocher (Royal Québec), and Sylvain Gaudet (Montcalm).
It is worth noting that the PGA of Québec will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. The board of directors will therefore be heavily involved in these celebrations, especially the president.
Congratulations to all board members on your nomination and, above all, for the time you dedicate to the growth of the PGA of Québec.
