Benson and Lalonde Triumph at the Callaway Team Championship, While Godbout and Smith Lead Their Team to Victory in the Pro-Am

Trois-Rivières, July 20, 2026 – The PGA of Québec visited the Ki-8-eb Golf Club today for the Callaway Team Championship and Pro-Am, an event that brought together professionals and amateurs in a friendly atmosphere while offering a high-level competition on the course.

Presented with the generous support of Callaway, the event’s main partner, the gathering allowed participants to enjoy a day of high-level golf, punctuated by numerous prizes and gifts awarded to amateurs as well as the winning teams. The PGA of Québec would also like to thank Levelwear, which generously contributed by providing prizes for amateur participants, as well as BEHY, which supplied all players with hydration packs to keep them going throughout the day.

The Professionals’ Team Championship was played under a two-ball best-ball format, in which each player played his own round and the team’s best score on each hole was recorded. This format led to several outstanding performances.

At the end of the day, Yohann Benson and Dom Lalonde carded the best score of the competition with an impressive 63 (-9), allowing them to claim the Callaway Team Championship title. Thanks to a round marked by remarkable consistency and several birdies, they managed to edge out the other teams.

Meanwhile, the Callaway Pro-Am featured teams composed of two professionals and two amateurs playing under the four-ball, best-of-two format, where the two best scores from each foursome were counted on each of the 18 holes.

The team consisting of professionals Anthony Godbout and Brandon Smith, accompanied by amateurs Guillaume Brousseau and Mathieu Desmarais, stood out by taking top honors with a spectacular score of 127 (-17). Their exceptional performance allowed them to outpace all participating teams and cap off the day in style.
