Fun was the order of the day at the Centre Normand-Léveillé Foundation Pro-Am
Drummondville, May 28, 2026 — The PGA of Québec was proud to help organize today’s Centre Normand-Léveillé Foundation Pro-Am, held at the Hériot Golf Club in Drummondville thanks to the invaluable support of its partners Sunset, Intact Insurance, Canimex, and Bourque Métal.
Despite inclement weather, participants fully enjoyed this day of golf and networking, marked by fun, generosity, and camaraderie. Groups consisted of a PGA of Québec professional paired with amateurs, allowing participants to enjoy a unique experience alongside experts from the golf industry.
The competition was played under the popular Vegas format, adding a dynamic and strategic element to the day.
Throughout the day, various activities organized by the partners livened up the course, in addition to the numerous food and refreshment stations available to golfers. Thanks to the involvement of Sunset, Intact Insurance, Canimex, and Bourque Métal, participants were able to enjoy a friendly and memorable experience despite the challenging weather conditions.
The day concluded with a dinner bringing together players, partners, and guests in a warm atmosphere. Participants enjoyed an excellent meal and took part in silent and live auctions organized to benefit the Fondation du Centre Normand-Léveillé.
Congratulations to the team led by professional Eric Laporte, accompanied by amateurs Pierre Hamel, Daniel Parenteau, and Pierre Bergeron, for their performance during the day’s competition. A score of 58 (-14) secured them first place.
Thanks to the generosity of participants, partners, and donors, a total of 410,000 $ was raised to support the mission of the Centre Normand-Léveillé.
The PGA of Québec would like to sincerely thank Sunset, Intact Insurance, Canimex, and Bourque Métal for their trust and valuable contribution to the event’s success, as well as all the volunteers and organizers who made this day possible.
“Despite the rain, we witnessed a tremendous turnout today. Participants turned out in force, and the atmosphere remained exceptional from start to finish,” said Eric Couture, Executive Director of the PGA of Québec.
