A day of sport, warmth and generosity

From 9:30am, participants were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere by the Foundation team and volunteers. The event kicked off at 11am, bringing together over 130 players, including professional and amateur golfers, public personalities, partners from the business and healthcare sectors, and friends of the Foundation.

Six foursomes included a PGA of Québec professional, adding a touch of competition and prestige to the event. The Pro-am formula offered amateur players a unique experience, as they received advice and played alongside passionate experts.

Over the course of the 18 holes, participants enjoyed a number of on-course activities, including contests for the most accurate shots, a “Beat the Pro” contest and a hole-in-one challenge, as well as gourmet and refreshment stations generously donated by our partners.

A festive and unifying after-golf event

After their round of golf, participants were invited to a cocktail reception, followed by a lively prize-giving ceremony and a silent auction featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses and kind-hearted donors. This festive occasion provided an opportunity to highlight the involvement of all participants and to celebrate the day's successes together.

"The success of this tournament is a testament to the strength of our community. Thanks to the commitment of our partners and participants, the passion of our pros and the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide concrete support for projects that improve the quality of life of our seniors," said Marie-Hélène Vendette, Executive Director of the Fondation Institut de gériatrie de Montréal.
