Good news from the Victoriaville Golf Club

Good news from the Victoriaville Golf Club

La VICTORIAVILLE-FENERGIC  CANADA CUP, powered by Groupe Laquerre, Groupe Jacques and Full Wedge Golf, will be back from August 13 to 16, 2026 and registration is now open.

The management of the Victoriaville – Fenergic Canada Cup is pleased to announce the extension of its agreement with the PGA of Québec, for the organization of this competition, open to all professional and amateur golfers, whether they are Canadian or from elsewhere in the world.

In 2026, there will be several new features related to exemptions for the tournament. Here are the details of these changes :

  • All exemptions available in Québec will be granted through competitions organized by the PGA of Quebec. These tournaments are:

  • In Ontario, other than the PGA of Ottawa and the PGA of Ontario, all other seats will only be available via the Toronto Players Tour, our new partner tour.

  • Note that all previous professional champions and the top-5 of the 2025 edition of the V-F Canada Cup benefit from an automatic exemption.

A big thank you to all our other partners for the exemptions: all PGA of Canada zones, Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT), Golf Canada and Golf Québec.

OMNIUM MACHINEX

This season, there will be some high stakes at the Machinex Open. Four (4) complimentary registrations for the V-W Canada Cup will be offered to participating players.

Two of these entries will be reserved for members of the PGA of Québec while the other two spots will be given to the top two in the rankings, regardless of their affiliation.

A guaranteed minimum purse of $12,000 will be at stake if there are a minimum of 50 participants.

EXEMPTIONS

If you don't get an exemption into the contingent via a qualification, you can always register and hope to get a spot. However, it is mandatory to participate in a qualifying tournament to hope that the organizing committee will allow you to play.

We recommend that you check with your association to find out if you are eligible for an exemption and in which events it applies.

The V-F Canada Cup is a mixed event that allows men and women to compete at different levels. Women will start from a milestone approximately 12% shorter than the men's and will play for the same purse. Please note that there are exemption spaces reserved only for women.
