Saint-Hyacinthe, September 30, 2025 – Yesterday, the Saint-Hyacinthe Golf Club hosted the 2025 edition of the PGA of Québec Pro-Champion-Championne, a unique event that once again combined competition, friendship, and celebration of Québec golf.

Played under a three-player Vegas format, the event brought together teams composed of a PGA of Québec club professional accompanied by their club's male and female champions. This original format highlighted the role of professionals in their communities while showcasing the achievements of amateur champions.

At the end of a day marked by remarkable team spirit and high-level play, the Laval-sur-le-Lac Golf Club team emerged victorious. Professional David Girard-Allard, accompanied by champion Véronique Fortin-Latreille and champion Hugo Labrecque, carded a superb 57 (-13) to take the honors. To mark this victory, the PGA of Québec presented both champions with a Callaway golf bag.

Behind them, a tie for second place confirmed the intensity of the competition. The Saint-Hyacinthe Golf Club, represented by professional Sébastien Robitaille, champion Cameron Robitaille, and champion Nathalie Chassé, delivered an inspired performance, tying the Boucherville Golf Club and its trio of professional Yves Tremblay, champion Jean-Philippe Archambault, and champion Sonia Charbonneau with identical scores of 58 (-12). In addition to the wonderful memories of the day, the four champions from both teams will have the opportunity to order a TaylorMade MG5 wedge, a great way to reward their performances.

“The Pro-Champion-Champion is a tournament that perfectly illustrates the unique relationship between our professionals and their members. It's a format that promotes sharing, team spirit, and recognition of the talent of our club champions,” said Justin Daoust-Guay, Senior Coordinator of Communications and Member Services for the PGA of Québec.

A fixture on the PGA of Québec calendar for many years, the Pro-Champions has become an unmissable event. For professionals, it is a valuable opportunity to share a high-level experience with their club champions, showcase their amateurs, and contribute to the development of golf. Beyond the competitive aspect, this day is also distinguished by its social and unifying character, making it a tradition that is eagerly awaited and appreciated year after year.

The PGA of Québec would like to thank all participants, volunteers, and partners who made this competition possible, and would like to acknowledge the exceptional quality of the Saint-Hyacinthe Golf Club course, whose playing conditions and the warm welcome offered by its employees greatly contributed to the success of this memorable day.
