PINEGROVE GOES TO QUEBEC CITY TO RECRUIT ITS NEW PRO LOUIS-ALEXANDRE PITRE

 9 1/2 WITH MARIO:

December begins at the PGA of Quebec the same way November ended,
with another appointment in the run-up to 2021.

It was in Quebec City that Pinegrove Golf Club went to get its new professional.
This is Louis-Alexandre Pitre, professional at La Tempête since 2016.
He is the choice to replace Rémi Bouchard, who is moving from  the South Shore
to the North Shore.
After five years at Pinegrove, Rémi joined the Laval-sur-le-Lac organization in the fall
as head professional.

His assistant Steve Deschênes also left to become a pro at Summerlea.
A professional since 2011, Louis-Alexandre Pitre is a graduate of Pfeiffer University,
in North Carolina.

A good player, he had achieved in 2010 the very difficult achievment of qualifying for the US Amateur Championship
 in Chambers Bay, Washington.
At the pro level, he won a team tournament with Marc-Étienne Bussières.

WHAT TO FOLLOW

The job market is not closed yet.
Pinegrove is expected to be back in the news soon with the announcement of a GM,
following the departure of Stéphane Dubé, who took the helm of the Association of Quebec golf courses.

It will also be interesting to see what André Raymond, the manager at La
Tempête, will do with the staff with the addition of a second 18 holes, including the first nine
which could be ready in 2021.
