Steven Brosseau leaves his place

Yesterday marked professional Steven Brosseau's last day as chairman of the board of the PGA of Quebec. He was the first president following the re-launch of the association in 2018.

Over the past three years, he has been a pillar in rebuilding the PGA of Quebec into what it is today. He has guided the association through many challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic. He has proudly represented Quebec professionals on the Board of Directors of Golf Quebec and the Standing Committee of the Québec golf industry, in addition to excelling as Head Professional at the Laval-sur-le-Lac Golf Club.

In a letter to the members of the Quebec PGA, he emphasized the strength of the group and the passion the professionals have for their sport.

"The success of an association is unequivocally based on the quality of its members. Since the re-launch of the PGA of Quebec, I have witnessed the strength of the group. Despite the last few difficult months due to the pandemic, we have remained united. " - Steven Brosseau

The new Chairman of the Board of Directors, David Tremblay was appointed at the same time. A member of the board since 2018 and of the association since 2004, he is ready for the new challenge.

"I am very proud to assume the role of President of the PGA of Quebec. I would like to thank Steven for his dedication and leadership over the past three years, he is finishing his mandate leaving the PGA of Quebec healthy and well positioned for the future. I am ready to take over and contribute to the advancement of our association in the coming years. Sylvain Gaudet was re-elected and professionals Louis-Alexandre Pitre and Steve Deschênes joined the board.
