TIM ALARIE AND NICHOLAS VAILLANCOURT WIN CALLAWAY GOLF TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Knowlton, Quebec (August 9th, 2021) - The St-Jerome (Alarie) and Hillsdale (Vaillancourt) golf professionals shot a bogey-free 65 (-7), two strokes ahead of the teams of Yannick Bibeau and Simon Camirand, as well as Pierre-Alexandre Bédard and Philippe Gariépy. 

Tim Alarie said after the competition that he was very satisfied with the performance of his team, which complemented each other well, and was happy to share the first professional victory of Nicholas Vaillancourt. 

The Pro-Am competition was won by the foursome of Martin Plante (Balmoral), Jean-Michel Paré (Victoriaville), Pierre Wilkie (a) and Marc Giguere (a). Their combined card (best ball) of 57 (-15) allowed them to take the pole position in this category.
 
The Knowlton Golf Club course, a 6480 yards par 72 for the professionals was in superb condition for the occasion and the heat and sunshine was on display with temperatures felt up to 35 ˚C. 

Bruce Carroll, General Manager of Callaway golf Canada and representatives Danny Poirier and Jean-Philippe Piché were on hand for the day and remarked on how great it was to be back with the professionals after the past few months of COVID-19 restrictions
